Albuquerque Christian Children's Home
In June of this year the Albuquerque Christian Children’s Home will have been serving at risk children for 45 years. 45 years of providing long-term foster care to children, helping these children “mend their past and build a healthy future”.
Here at the Albuquerque Christian Children’s Home, we haven’t lost the vision of our forefathers; we still have an earnest desire to help children, we still love to help them learn about God and enjoy His grace and mercy. We laugh and cry with them, tearfully saying goodbye when it’s time for them to leave. In all situations, happy or sad, we give glory to our gracious God who continues to bless ACCH.
Habitat for Humanity
Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity, founded in 1987, is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International , a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.We offer simple, decent affordable homes to low-income families who are financially stable, yet are unable to improve their living situation in today’s housing market.
El Ranchito de los Ninos
is a safe, loving home where children grow in a supportive, family farm setting. Education, personal responsibility and charity to and from others guide us as we strive to provide an alternative to foster care. Our goals are to give siblings a stable home in which they may grow to adulthood together. All ages of children, 0 to 18, are considered for admission to our home. Our preference is for an entire sibling group to be placed in El Ranchito de los Niños.
Ponderosa Christian Childrens Camp
Ponderosa Christian Camp is located in the Jemez Mountains of New Mexico surrounded by pine trees with a beautiful stream for a boundary. The facilities include cabins with bunk beds, bathhouses with showers, an upgraded kitchen where food is served cafeteria style, dining hall, an outdoor pavilion, a campfire area, basketball and volleyball courts and a large area for outdoor recreation.
